The mission of Cannon Chapel and the is to: Support religious and philosophical communities, Educate about spirituality and ethics in society and the world, Provide pastoral care, and Promote religious pluralism and multifaith engagement. The University Chaplain and Dean of Spiritual and Religious Life works with staff and affiliates representing various religious and philosophical traditions on Emory's Atlanta and Oxford campuses to support a remarkably diverse spiritual life program. Undergraduate and graduate/professional student organizations enrich the opportunities for spiritual leadership and practice on campus. On the Atlanta campus, the has two locations: Cannon Chapel Suite 316, where the Office of the Dean is located, and the Alumni Memorial University Center (AMUC) Suite 125, where the Associate Dean and Assistant Chaplains are located. At Oxford College, the Oxford College Chaplain is located in the Student Center. Our signature programs include: Beloved Community Worship, Voices of Inner Strength Gospel Choir, the Inter-Religious Council (IRC), Journeys of Reconciliation, Off the Record, and International Student Coffee Hour.
